Dr Shaun Ewe is an experienced General Practitioner with a special interest in skin cancer detection and management. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and a Bachelor of Medical Sciences with Honours (BMedSci) from the University of Tasmania, as well as a Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) from the University of Sydney.
With over seven years of hospital-based experience across Tasmania, New South Wales, and Victoria, Dr Ewe has gained comprehensive clinical expertise in general medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, emergency medicine, paediatrics, and geriatric health. Transitioning into primary care, he pursued advanced training in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery, completing a Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and becoming a member of the Skin Cancer College Australasia.
Dr Ewe is dedicated to early skin cancer detection and management, offering comprehensive skin checks and procedural skin cancer care at Gregory Street. As a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), he also continues to provide holistic primary care to individuals of all ages.
Outside of medicine, Dr Ewe enjoys specialty coffee, bushwalking, riding his electric skateboard and spending quality time with his young family.

Dr Stephanie Das General Practitioner

Dr Stephanie Das was born in Singapore and moved to the United Kingdom to pursue her medical studies, graduating from Glasgow University in Scotland in 2006. After completing two years of medical practice in Scotland, Dr Stephanie relocated to New Zealand in 2008, where she made her home and pursued her passion for medicine.
Initially, Dr Stephanie embarked on a career in General Surgery, which she practised for four years. However, during her Master’s studies in 2014, Dr Stephanie discovered her passion for serving the community through General Practice. Since 2014, she has dedicated herself to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care and has become a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in New Zealand. Now, Dr Stephanie is thrilled to call beautiful Hobart, Tasmania, home as she continues her career by transferring her expertise to become a Fellow of the Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Dr Stephanie enjoys all aspects of General Practice, but has developed particular interests in the following areas of specialisation:
- Women’s Health and Sexual Health:
Dr Stephanie is experienced in menopause management and trained in the insertion and removal of intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUCDs) and Jadelle contraceptive implants. She is also skilled in performing pipelle biopsies.
- Otolaryngology (Ear Nose and Throat, ENT):
Dr Stephanie is trained to treat patients with a wide range of ENT conditions, including acute and recurrent otitis media, otitis externa, recurrent tonsillitis, and paediatric and adult obstructive sleep apnoea.
- Dermatology and Skin Cancer Diagnosis and Care:
With advanced training in skin cancer diagnosis, management, and surgery, Dr Stephanie is an accredited skin cancer doctor and a tutor for the Australasian Skin Cancer College. She is also a proud member of the Australian Institute of Dermatology and has completed several dermatology diplomas.
- Minor Surgery:
Dr Stephanie specialises in performing minor skin surgeries, including excisions, biopsies, local flaps, and skin grafts, ensuring that all her patients receive high-quality care tailored to their needs.
Outside of medicine, Dr Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and young son. Together, they share a love for adventure, enjoying rock climbing, road and mountain biking, skiing, and mountaineering.

Dr Tristan Yolland is an experienced Skin Cancer Doctor with qualifications Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery (MBBS), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer), Master of Sports Medicine (MSpMed), Diploma of Child Health (DCH), Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)
Originally from the Blue Mountains in NSW, Dr Tristan Yolland graduated from the University of Sydney then spent 8 years working in hospitals and in general practice in Newcastle before moving to Hobart.
Dr Yolland has an interest in skin cancer diagnosis and surgery, and is an accredited skin doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia. Dr Tristan Yolland is currently only practicing in skin checks/procedures, no General Practice.
In his spare time he enjoys triathlons, mountain biking and spending time with his young family.
Dr Ian Hoyle Skin Cancer Doctor

Dr Ian Hoyle has over 29 years of medical experience. Over the last ten years, he has concentrated on the dermatology and aesthetic fields and has accumulated a wealth of experience and skills in these areas. With a Medical Degree from London University in 1986, he has postgraduate qualifications in Dermatology, Anaesthetics, Immediate Medical Care, Skin Cancer Medicine, General Practice and Rural Medicine.
Dr Tristan Johnson Skin Cancer Doctor

Dr Tristan Johnson graduated from Medical Sciences in 2007, and from a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery in 2009 with Honours from the University of Tasmania. He is a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), and has worked as a GP in Tasmania for a number of years.
A passion for skin cancer diagnosis and management lead to an Advanced Certificate in Dermatoscopy, followed by a Master’s Degree in Skin Cancer Medicine with Dean’s commendation from the University of Queensland. Over the past decade, he has practiced within private plastics clinics and hospital surgical lists to ascertain a very high standard of clinical and surgical competency, with a high caseload of skin cancer surgical work.
Today he holds a senior lecturer position within the University of Queensland and is a nominated lead clinical expert in review and support of Tasmania’s skin cancer surgical provision. He cares for a wide range of Tasmanians; receiving referrals from local and rural remote general practice, and specialists and offers his time to rural communities in Tasmania. Tristan is regularly involved in local surgical teaching for Tasmanian general practice registrars, now run by RACGP. Tristan is happy hosting local medical practitioners keen on upskilling in procedural skin cancer work and dermatoscopy by appointment. He is unable to take advanced skills registrars at this time.
Tristan is a Skin Cancer College of Australia accredited practitioner, and continues independent audit and continued professional development in the field of skin cancer medicine.
Outside of medicine, Tristan pursues landscape photography, furniture carpentry and is an enthusiastic mountain biker where time permits around three young children.
